Matter presents an organism undertaking a metaphorical journey through a realm teeming with machinistic elements of everyday life. The organism's interactions are projected onto an acrylic sheet, resembling a game interface. This progression mirrors our contemporary existence and offers a unique visual perspective of a cyborg.
Joey Leung (b.1999, Singapore) is an artist who explores the technological aspects of life and interconnectedness of things. Through her investigations, she seeks to understand how these elements shape our perceptions of the world and deepens our sense of connection with it. Her recent projects look at reconstructing the body in various adaptations through sculpture, installation and media.
