Sara Tasha (b. 2002), a visual artist currently studying at Lasalle College of the Arts. Sara Tasha is an abstract painter who works majorly with acrylic paints . Her practice explores the different textures, techniques and her understanding of color. Sara’s works revolves around the discovery of her own language in visual arts through abstraction. Sara is heavily influenced by energy changes through interaction, communication and touch. Her subconsious and intuition plays a big role in the colors she uses and the marks she makes. She describes her practice as a relationship between herself and her art, intimate yet distant. Her paintings are all an ongoing, conversation from her first abstract painting to her current and future paintings. It is an open conversation where she invites her viewers to interject and impose hoping to extend this conversation and bring people together through interaction, communication and touch, similar to what inspires her practice.
